Homeowners, come join Energy Upgrade California and StopWaste.org at the Berkeley Home Energy Efficiency Workshop on Tuesday, March 6, to learn more about how easy it is to get up to $4,000 back on home improvements that will help save you money, make your home more energy-efficient, and improve home comfort.

Plus, your energy upgrade will benefit schools in your area. When you sign up for an energy upgrade, the local school of your choice will receive $100. The school that signs up the most households between now and April will earn an additional $5,000. It's still not too late to get your school involved! Visit www.energizefortheprize.org for more information.

Did you know?

  • You may be eligible for up to $4,000 in rebates when you make your home more energy efficient.
  • Average home loses approximately 40% of its energy. That’s means 40 cents of every $1 is leaking out of your home.
  • Indoor air quality is 2 to 5 times worse than outdoor air quality
  • Average home creates more air pollution than the average car

Join your neighbors! More energy upgrades have been completed in Alameda County than in any other county in the Bay Area. And the numbers will just keep going up as almost half of Alameda County homeowners reported that they’d like to complete energy-efficiency upgrades in the future.
