The Piedmont Boy Scout Council and the Piedmont High School College & Career Center will host a Career Day for all Piedmont High School and Millennium High School Students, grades 9-12.
Career Day is offered every other year, and it has been ongoing for almost 40 years. It is a joint effort between the Piedmont Boy Scouts and Piedmont High's College & Career Center.
The format of Career Day 2011 consists of roughly 30 one-hour long seminars -- each one led by two speakers in a related field, who repeat the seminar for a second group of students. This year there are 65 speakers, representing careers from engineering, law and medical research to art, music, teaching, computer gaming, renewable energy and community building non-profits.
