Pomp and Circumstance at the PHS Graduation

Congratulations to the Class of 2012!

Family and friends filled Witter Field stands Wednesday to applaud and celebrate the achievements of the Piedmont High School class of 2012. The PHS Jazz Band played, the a cappella group sang and the sound of a single bagpipe filled the air.

Student speakers included valedictorian Willem Xu, salutatorian Alexander Weickhardt and senior speaker Hao-Jun Michael Shi, while Cassey Chan presented the class gift. As students were acknowledged for maturing, beach balls bounced in the air and bubbles floated by.

Following the ceremony, friends and family filed onto the field for hugs and offers of congratulations before the seniors were whisked away on buses to grad night.

My daughter was a camp counselor at this camp last summer. It is a really unique camp. What aRead More great experience for kids. I wish something like this was available when my kids were young. Parents should definitely check it out!!
