Register early and you can pick up your Turkey Trot T-shirt and bib the day before the race.

Online registration is now open for the 11th Annual Turkey Trot, scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22.

The Turkey Trot, a three-mile run/walk through the city's tree-lined streets, is the major fundraiser for the Piedmont High School cross country and track teams.

Over the past 10 years, the Turkey Trot has become a tradition marking the beginning of the holiday season for many Piedmont families. Last year, more than 1,400 people participated.
