In Photos: Class of 2016 Says Farewell to PMS
Moving' on up ... leaving Piedmont Middle School behind and looking forward to high school
Kicked off by eighth grader Alexandra Shoptaugh on the bagpipes, the graduation included recognition of and performances by students and teachers.
Girl and Boy Scouts led the Pledge of Allegiance. Principal Jeanne Donovan welcomed the crowd and Assistant Principal Eric Mapes recognized student accomplishments in academics, sports, music and more.
Students spoke about their years at PMS, while Piedmont High School student body president Matthew Leong and PHS Principal Rich Kitchens welcomed the class to high school.
