Tickets are on sale now for Piedmont High School's 47th Annual Bird Calling Contest

From a Piedmont High School press release:

Piedmont High students are making preparations for the 47th Annual Bird Calling Contest.

This year’s contest will take place on Friday, May 4, at 4 p.m. in the Alan Harvey Theater, located on the Piedmont High School campus, 800 Magnolia Ave. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for K-12 students and seniors over the age of 65. Alleviate having to arrive early to get a great seat by purchasing Reserved Seating for $25. Purchase tickets on-line at www.piedmont.k12.ca.us/phs/. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the box office on the day of the event.

Since 1963 students from Piedmont High have carried on the tradition of competing for the title of best bird caller. In addition to bragging rights, the top three finishers in the competition will be heading to New York where they have once again been invited to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman.
