UNDER-12 BOYS

Piedmont Tasmanian Devils 2, RSC Fighting Cobras 0

The Tasmanian Devils enjoyed an offensive breakthrough while maintaining their defensive dominance. Mitchell Bloemker scored the first goal and Joey Lalli scored the second. Clay Stern assisted on both goals with help from Blake Meyers on the second.  Paul Woolcott continued his perfect season in goal, stoutly protected by the iron curtain of Daniel Alderman, Donovan Capsimalis and Hunter Stern.

UNDER-12 GIRLS

ASC Wildfire 4, Purple Dynamite 0

The first half featured awesome goal-keeping at both ends of the field. Shannon Baack played strong in defense against a relentless attack. Taylor Scofield, Samantha Merigold and Julia Tucher worked hard in the midfield to set up Dynamite attacks.

UNDER-14 GIRLS

Highlanders 5, Berkeley United 0

On an assist from Hana Elabed, Yael Gordon headed the ball into the goal to start the scoring. The Highlander's second and third goals were scored by Daria Mohazab off of well placed assists from Samantha Hofherr and Cecilia Soghikian. Caroline James also scored twice; the second goal was off an assist by Tess Olcott. Defense was provided by Jane Kingston, Samantha McGrath and Sydney Boxer.

Oakland Puma Girls 3, Piedmont Five Ps 0

Lapses of concentration caused the Five Ps to tumble to a 3-0 defeat to long-time rivals the Puma Girls. As pointed out by the Oakland coach, the Five Ps are too good a team to have lost by three goals. However, although Ariana Pulley and her defense, Olivia Arrabit and her midfield, and Megan Deutsche and her forwards tried hard, they couldn't match the Puma Girls.
