Council Poised to Ban Competitive Soccer at Linda Beach
Council meets Monday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m. to consider use restrictions for Linda Beach Playfield.

The Recreation Commission has unanimously approved a plan for recommendation to the City Council for changes to the use restrictions for Linda Beach Playfield. The proposed changes would call for the field to be divided into two clearly marked and signed fields. One field would be limited to casual, family, child use with use by all and no competitive games. The other half field would permit competitive games only on that field and would be limited to 12 participants at any one time. Full length soccer games on the field would be prohibited except by permit. Read more
