Brief Description

Come join family, friends and neighbors on Thanksgiving morning for the 9th annual Piedmont Turkey Trot. Run, jog, walk or stroll the 3-mile course through some of Piedmont's most beautiful streets. The course is moderately hilly and 100% paved. Race starts in front of the high school at 8:30 AM sharp.

The race course route is 3 miles:

Start in front of Piedmont HS, run up Magnolia and turn right onto Highland. Left on Wildwood. Right on Crocker. Left on LaSalle. Quick left on Indian followed by quick right on LaSalle. Left on Hampton. Right on Sea View. Left on Mountain. Bear right onto Craig. Left on Highland. Right on Vista. Left on Bonita. Finish in front of PHS

Additional Information:

Shirts to the first 1100 entrants. Pick up shirts before the race for best selection. Divisions for men and women in each age group: 0-12; 13-18; 19-34;35-49;50-59; 60 and over. Prizes presented after the race in the high school amphitheater. Turkey gift certificates for fastest overall man and woman. Pies or cookies to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each division. Prizes for oldest and youngest participants. More than 1000 entrants last year. Race on rain or shine. No refunds. Course: Start at 800 Magnolia Ave, turn right on Highland Ave, turn left on Wildwood Ave, turn right on Crocker Ave, turn left on La Salle Ave, turn left on Indian Road, bear right on La Salle Ave, turn left on Hampton Road, turn right on Sea View Ave, turn left on Mountain Ave, turn right on Craig Ave, turn left on Highland Ave, turn right on Vista Ave, turn left on Bonita Ave, finish at Magnolia Ave.
