The Oakland Strokes' women's 8 and women's lightweight 8 compete Sunday in the finals of the USRowing national youth championships, with Piedmonters on both boats.
They qualified in Saturday's semi-finals, on the second day of the three-day event on Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, TN. Both posted the fastest semi-finals times in their respective events.
Sunday's races may be viewed via live streaming video at http://www.ustream.tv/usrowing from 5 a.m. to 11:28 a.m. PDT. The women's lightweight 8 race is scheduled for 8:54 a.m. PDT and the women's 8 at 11:06 a.m. PDT.
In the "B" finals, the Oakland Strokes' men's lightweight 8 will compete at 10:37 a.m. PDT.
