Piedmonter Among Top 200 Bay to Breakers Finishers

The centennial race drew more than 43,000 runners from Piedmont, the Bay Area and around the globe.

Daniel Sivolella of Piedmont finished 185th out of 43,361 runners in the 100th annual Bay to Breakers 12K race in San Francisco Sunday morning.

Sivolella's 46:34 finishing time made him the 166th man to cross the finish line and 25th among men age 40-49. Sivolella was just over 12 minutes off the winner's pace—29-year-old Morrocan Ridouane Harroufi took first place with a time of 34:36.

Peter Harvey, the next best Piedmont runner, finished 593rd overall with a time of 53:05. He was 43rd in men's 50-59 age group.

Patrick Collins, was the only other Piedmonter to finish in the top 1,000. He ran the race in 54:44, coming in 765th overall and 196th in the 30-39 age group.
