Reminder: Road Closures for Thursday's Turkey Trot

There's still time to register online for the three-mile run/walk.

The Piedmont Police Department reminds local residents that some roads will be closed for the annual Turkey Trot three-mile run/walk Thursday morning.

Sections of the course will be posted, “No Parking” and vehicles may be towed for violation of the posted signs. There will be temporary road closures during the race to allow for runner safety.

The course begins and ends at Magnolia and Highland avenues.

Tuesday, Nov. 26, is the last day to register for the Turkey Trot online. The cost is $25 for those 13 and older, $15 for 12 years and younger.

Check the Turkey Trot website at piedmontturkeytrot.com for additional information and to see a map, a detailed description of the course and registration details.
