<p>Historic Chapel of the Chimes was designed by the great California architect, Julia Morgan, in 1928 as an addition to the existing Oakland Memorial Columbarium. The building is considered one of the great examples of funerary architecture in the United States as well as one of the great examples of Bay Area architecture. </p> <p>The facility has two on-site chapels, a columbarium, a crematory, and offers in-ground placement as well as scattering options.</p> <p> </p>
