<p>The City Clerk's office is a portal to city government and services, providing access to public records, interpretations of the municipal code and referrals to community organizations. </p>
<p>The office posts public notice of all city council, commission and committee meetings and provides copies of the related agendas, staff reports, and minutes at City Hall and on the city's Web site.</p> <p>The City Clerk is also Piedmont's archivist, maintaining historical  property records dating and a collection of photographs dating back even before the city's incorporation in 1907.</p> <p>Maintenance of Piedmont's official Web site and oversight of the government and educational access television station, KCOM, also fall under the clerk's purview.</p>
