The Piedmont Cinema is the oldest operating theater in Oakland, first opening its doors to the public on September 15, 1917, before "talkies" came along. Currently operated by Landmark Theatres, the Piedmont shows mostly art and international films. Drop by on Saturday nights for a fun raffle before the screening.
