Piedmont Police Department

Flag as Inappropriate

The Piedmont Police Department's 20-officer force includes a canine unit and bicycle patrol and is supported by three reserve officers. A handful of dedicated volunteers also help out in the evidence room and conduct home checks, among other tasks. Parking enforcement and animal services (shared with Emeryville) also fall under the department's purview. City residents can go here to appeal a parking ticket, retrieve a towed vehicle, or get dog licenses and off-leash permits. Piedmont's emergency dispatch center, which fields calls for local fire and paramedic services as well as police, is housed at the department.
