The target audience,…Read More obviously, is younger kids, but the production is well done and includes plenty for parents, grandparents, and other grownups to enjoy. The admission does not include the plush toy that someone will REALLY want you to buy before you leave...

When our son was young, we went numerous times. It is lots of fun but take earplugs as the…Read More firecrackers can be awfully loud, especially for very little kids.

This parade is well worth going to. Did you know Alameda's own Lincoln Middle School band has…Read More marched in this parade in the past and even won an award? The band was photographed and featured in SF Magazine marching in the parade. This was under the direction of now-retired band director "Mr. D.C." . It was an amazing experience being an adult chaperone of the band marching in this parade and hearing the roar of the huge crowd as the students marched past and seeing the beautiful costumes, floats and dragon dance. Go earlly to find a good viewing spot and enjoy the parade of your lifetime! It is an experience you won't forget.
