Bill was a frequent inspiration to me as a gardener, teacher and a community volunteer. I can'tRead More quite believe we will no longer be comparing notes on our gardens. He was such a positive force in the community, he will be sorely missed.

Will Patch be profiling the declared candidates for these district races?
Dixie Jordan (Editor) July 18, 2012 at 10:21 am
Probably not, unfortunately, as I just plain don't have time to do it, and I don't know of anyRead More regional plan to deal with special district races. At best, brief descriptions of who they are, what they've done once papers are filed, but most likely nothing in depth.

Ironic or perhaps fitting? How many of us found out about Steve's passing through one of the devicesRead More that he was known for?

I first learned about Apple when I went to the computer lab to write my thesis in grad school. WeRead More had a bunch of PC's and one Mac SE30 to sign up on. The SE30 was always overbooked because once you word-processed on the Mac you were not going back to the PC.
