About Rena
Rena is a freelance writer based in the East Bay. She came here by way of Moscow, Los Angeles and Santa Cruz, with a short stint in Spain along the way.
Her writing has progressed from diary entries in grade school, book reports in high school, philosophy papers in college at UC Santa Cruz and finally, her feature and news stories in several Bay Area online and print publications.
Seeking a lucrative career, she now has her sights set on writing fiction.

Rena, your posting for the Beach Dads Pancake Breakfast has a mistake. The Beach Dads Club is serving pancakes. The location is Havens because Beach is under construction.
This is the incorrect part:
"The dads of Havens Elementary School will be making pancakes and serving coffee from 9 a.m. to noon."
