Halloween Opera Concert, "Something Wicked," Oct 26

West Edge Opera is delighted to offer Something Wicked, the first of a three-concert holiday series at the lovely and intimate Piedmont Center for the Arts, with outstanding singers presenting some of the best examples in the repertoire of the magical, the mysterious, the metaphysical.

The intensity of opera and the Gothic imagination just go together, like werewolves and howls.  This Halloween concert draws arias and ensembles from grand opera such as Faust and The Tales of Hoffmann,  to the musical stage: Sweeney Todd and Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore (or, The Witch's Curse)
