TUESDAY, NOV. 12

Burglary arrest — Police located and arrested a man who apparently attempted to burglarize a garage on Oakland Avenue about 12:30 p.m. The resident reported seeing the man inside the garage; officers found him on Monte Vista Avenue. The suspect was taken to the Glenn Dyer Detention Facility in Oakland.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 13

Auto burglary — Someone broke into a vehicle parked on Waldo Avenue and rifled through the interior.

Strong-arm robbery — A citizen was pushed to the ground and robbed of a purse on Calvert Court about 12:15 p.m. The robber then fled in an SUV, possibly a older Chevrolet Suburban and possibly driven by a second person. Police said the stolen purse contained about $300 in cash and credit cards.

Stolen license plate — A license plate was removed from a vehicle parked on Blair Avenue and replaced with another stolen plate.
