Oakland Mayor Says: 'SeeClickFix My Favorite to Report Potholes'

Oakland's mayor recommends using SeeClickFix to report potholes in advance of the city's annual "Pothole Blitz." (If the SeeClickFix map for Piedmont Avenue and Grand Lake isn't displaying properly, please refresh this page.)

Here's what Mayor Jean Quan posted on her Facebook page over the weekend:

"On your way to the various weekend events around Oakland, be sure to look out for and report potholes. Every year in late April, the city does a "Pothole Blitz" where we often rely on residents to provide the locations of some of the worst potholes. The blitz starts April 29th and goes until June 6th. If there are some that you have been noticing, now is the time to report them. You can call the Public Works at 615-5566, email them at pwacallcenter@oaklandnet.com, or (my favorite) use your phone through the See-Click-Fix app. Find more information here: http://www2.oaklandnet.com/oakca1/groups/cityadministrator/documents/memorandum/oak040370.pdf"

You can also report potholes using the SeeClickFix map of Piedmont Avenue and the Grand Lake area above, and read more about the city's annual pothole fixer-upper, which begins April 29, in this article on Rockridge Patch"Oakland's Annual 'Pothole Blitz' Begins April 29."
