New Lakeshore Restaurant Meets Its Funding Goal
The owners of Shakewell Bar & Kitchen raised $100,000 in just three weeks.
Shakewell Bar & Kitchen, a new restaurant planned for Oakland's Lakeshore District, reached its goal of raising $100,000 in start-up money through a Kickstarter campaign with 42 hours to spare.
Owners Jennifer Biesty and Tim Nugent plan an American-Mediterrean style restaurant serving unch, dinner and weekend brunch along with seasonal cocktails. Read more about their plans in "Chefs Hope to Open Lakeshore Restaurant with Kickstarter Funding."
