Piedmont Homes Sold in May 2012

Piedmont home sales appear to be on an upward trend as spring moves toward summer.

Fourteen homes sold in Piedmont during May, 2012, up from 12 sales the previous month and 11 in May of 2011. And the sales were quick, with only one home lingering for more than 16 days before selling.

Prices were similar ($650,000 to $2.4 million) to the comparable period last year ($550,000 to $2.85 million), and 11 sold for more than the list price. Two sold for the asking price and only one for less.

Nine of the homes sold for less than $1.5 million, two for $2 million or above.
