A flurry of relatively last-minute votes put Temple Sinai Preschool well in the lead

Oakland's Temple Sinai Preschool garnered the most votes in this week's Readers' Choice 2012 poll on Piedmont Patch.

We asked, "What's your favorite preschool in (or close to) Piedmont?"

You answered,"Temple Sinai Preschool" by giving the preschool 35 percent of the total votes cast.

Three other preschools were neck-and-neck for second place: with 16 percent of the vote, Piedmont Playschool with 14 percent and with 12 percent.

The Lake School, which wasn't one of the official choices, was notable for the number of very positive write-in comments it received.
