Camron-Stanford Open House

Go back in time to 1880's Oakland at Christmas time.  Every guest will receive a Victorian calling card as they enter so they can be "received" by the lady of the house on her "at home" day.  You'll see the family's candle-lit Christams tree, peek at the toys and other gifts for the children and view mementos of the family's travels by the light of a gas lit chandelier.  Museum guides will help you understand the traditions of the Victorian holiday season and the history of this famous Oakland landmark.

Camron-Stanford House Preservation Association is pleased to provide this opportunity FREE for everyone as our gift for the holidays.
