Registrations is coming to a close on May 15th

for the Cub Scout 49er Day Camp at Dracena Park, scheduled for June 16 – 20

this summer.

Activities at the Gold Rush themed camp including finding

golden nuggets along with participating in crafts and games.  The week culminates on Friday, June 20, with

a water fun day and the famous Egg Drop at the foot of Dracena Park.

Camp hours are 1 – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 1

– 7 p.m. on Friday.  Parents are invited

to attend family picnic and Egg Drop Extravaganza on Friday from 5:30 – 7

p.m.  Fenton’s Creamery has generously

donated “Scoop Coupons” for all surviving “Egg” participants.

The Camp is open to all registered Cub Scouts and other

interested boys currently in grades first through fourth. The cost is $160, and

includes a camp T-shirt, snacks, crafts and insurance.  Register on-line www.piedmontbsa.org.
