Sewing Zippers 101

Thursday December 5th 6-8pm Ages 13+

Take
your sewing to the next level and learn to sew with zippers.  You will
learn two different methods of zipper installation (exposed and
centered) in this class by creating two zipper pouches.  These zipper
pouches make great gifts and can help keep small items organized.  Basic
sewing skills necessary.
$40 + $10 materials fee

Instructor: Dolin O'Shea

Dolin
O'Shea spent 15 years in the garment industry as a pattern maker and
technical designer. She just finished writing her first sewing book
(which will be released in the Fall of 2014) and develops patterns for
her own company, Lulu Bliss Patterns. She also does freelance work for
Chronicle books as a technical craft book editor. She lives in San Jose,
