Piedmont-Oakland Death Notices

Some of the people with ties to Piedmont and Oakland who passed away recently

Bruce Rogers, a resident of Piedmont, was born in Oakland and had a lifelong interest in antiques. He passed away on July 27 at the age of 85.

Dudley Angle Jr., a resident of Oakland, was a native of New Orleans who moved with his family to California. He attended McClymonds High School and served in the U.S. Army. He passed on July 21 at the age of 76.

Dr. Alden Badal, a resident of Danville, worked in the Oakland school district in various administrative posts for 19 years. He was also San Lorenzo school district superintendent from 1978 to 1992. He was active in the Community Presbyterian Church in Danville. Badal passed away on July 29 at the age of 83.

Barbara Cotruvo, a resident of Healdsburg, attended Oakland Technical School and worked at Wells Fargo Bank. She passed on July 26 at the age of 75.
