Oakland Police Looking for Man Who Allegedly Sexually Assaulted 6-Year-Old Girl

The attack occurred about 3 miles away from Piedmont. Crime Stoppers is offering a $7500 reward for information in this case

Information provided by Oakland Police—

The Oakland Police Department would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault that occurred in the 950 block of E. 28th Street near Bella Vista Elementary School.

On March 28, at 3:15 p.m., the victim, who is a 6-year-old female, was lured away from the school by the suspect and assaulted. After the assault the victim was able to return to the school to alert an adult.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 20-25, 5’6”- 5’10”, average build, with black hair. He was wearing a blue and black jacket and black shorts.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a Silver SUV.
