OPD Arrests Two in Pavé Jewelry Store Robbery
Investigators are still seeking more suspects.
The Oakland Police Department announced Friday afternoon that two people have been arrested on suspicion on robbing Pavé Fine Jewelry's College Avenue store at gunpoint last August.
From the Oakland Police Department:
On October 3, 2012, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office charged Oakland residents Richard Nguyen and Reyona Lampkin with three counts of second-degree robbery in connection with the Pave Jewelry Store robbery. Nguyen and Lampkin were safely arrested following an Oakland Police Department investigation.
Background: On August 2, 2012, at 5:30 PM, the Oakland Police Department responded to the 5400 block of College Avenue on a report of an armed robbery. It was reported that two armed suspects had entered the store and removed jewelry at gunpoint.
Investigators are still looking for additional suspects in connection with the robbery.
