Police Release Photo of Suspects' Car in Oakland Hills Shooting

Bay City News–Police are looking for two suspects for a shooting in the Oakland Hills on Wednesday and have released a surveillance photo of a car they believe the suspects were driving.

The victim of the shooting had just left his house in the 7000 block of Elverton Drive at 10:35 p.m. when two suspects approached him and told him to stop. When the victim continued, one of the suspects shot and injured him. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police described the two suspects as African American males between 18 and 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing dark clothing. The two were driving a newer black Japanese two-door car.

Police have asked anyone with information about the suspects to contact Oakland police at (510) 238-3821. Oakland police and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
