Police Searching for Suspect in Grand Lake Area Armed Robbery

Anyone with information about the man or the truck shown in the attached photos is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department.

Oakland police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred in the 700 block of Walker Avenue on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Surveillance cameras captured the attached photos of the suspect and the vehicle he got out of before the robbery, police said in a bulletin this morning (Friday).

The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, 5'7" tall, 170 pounds, with short hair and a lower silver "grill" in his mouth.

The 700 block of Walker Avenue is a residential area between Cheney Avenue and Mandana Boulevard, a block east of Grand Avenue.
