June Monach Receives Arthur Hecht Award

The education advocate and former school board member received the 2012 Arthur Hecht Volunteer of the Year award at Wednesday night's Piedmont Board of Education meeting

Piedmont Board of Education President Roy Tolles praised June Monach's volunteer efforts Wednesday night as the education advocate and former school board member received the 2012 Arthur Hecht Volunteer of the Year Award.

In a traditional part of the award ceremony, Monach received a favorite piece of art from Piedmont High School's AP ART student showcase. She chose a piece by Jonathan Shum.
