PHS Bird Callers on David Letterman Tonight

Piedmont meets NYC as the winners of this year's bird calling contest make their annual appearance on he "Late Show"

Winners of the 47th annual Piedmont High School bird calling contest will appear on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight. The show begins at 11:35 p.m. on KPIX-TV, Channel 5.

This year's winners are:

1st Place: Greater Prairie-Chicken, Tympanuchus cupido. Cameron Anderson, Tlalli Moya-Smith, Sheli Schacker.

2nd Place: Green Heron, Butorides virescens. Fenua Ibabao.

3rd Place: California Quail, Callipepla californica. Lawrence Ma, Wes Dunlap, Will Meredith.
