Piedmont LWV Endorses School Support Tax
The League of Women Voters of Piedmont has announced its support for the school parcel tax measure appearing on the March 5, 2013, special election ballot.

The League of Women Voters of Piedmont has endorsed the School Support Tax. The measure, which would continue local parcel tax support for Piedmont schools, will be presented to the city's voters at a special election on March 5, 2013.
The League board voted to endorse the measure at its meeting on Dec. 12. The board cited both the California League's statewide position and the Piedmont League's local position supporting excellence in K-12 education.

The League plans to hold a public forum on the proposed tax measure on Feb. 7.
