School Board: Annual Audit, Parcel Tax Oversight Committee, Emergency Roof Repairs

What's on tap for the Piedmont Unified School District's Board of Education tonight.

Recent storms were unkind to the roofs at Wildwood and Beach Schools, and so Superintendent Constance Hubbard is asking the Piedmont Unified School District's board of education to authorize getting bids for emergency roof repairs.

"The unprecedented rainstorm in December 2012 resulted in the discovery of roof issues that make it imprudent to wait until the original schedule of summer of 2013 to have the 1990's era roofs replaced," Hubbard notes in the agenda for tonight's board meeting.
