On Tuesday, September 18, 2012, the City Council and Planning Commission will hold a joint meeting to discuss two important topics. The first will be consideration of expanding the scope of the upcoming City's Bicycle Plan, and combining it with a Pedestrian Plan (including a Safe Routes to School section). The second topic will be a discussion of Wireless Communications Facilities in the City, and whether or not the City should consider changes to the current procedures.
The meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. in the EOC Conference Room at the Police Station, 403 Highland Avenue. The City Council and Planning Commission may provide comments and direction on how to proceed concerning both subjects. Staff reports will be available on the City's website at www.ci.piedmont.ca.us on or about September 14th.
