The Red Sox put on a hitting display, knocking FOUR home runs in a Thursday evening home run frenzy. Jonathan Wu had 5 RBIs for the Red Sox. Leading the charge for the Angels were Evan Spry and Greg Gately, each going 4-for-4, and Robert Epstein with two doubles.

Piedmont Dragons 10, Oakland Blue Bobcats 11
In their second meeting of the season, the Oakland Blue Bobcats overcame a 9-4 Dragons lead to win an exciting game. The Dragons got the tying run to third base in the fifth inning, but were unable to score. The Bobcats pitchers struck out three in the inning to end the game. Marissa Petty pitched two strong innings for the Dragons and Kyra Gardner was solid in relief. The Dragons hitters were led by Petty, who had two singles and a walk and scored twice, Maeve Gilbert and Rachel Elliot, who were also on base three times and each scored twice. Gardner, Avery Zak, Angela Huang and Jasmine Edwards-Bray also scored runs for the Dragons.
Piedmont Titans 0, Lady Sharks 11
The Titans played a great game against a tough team. Katy Savage had a diving catch at short. Addie Perkins, Kerry O'Connor and Addie Christianson all made big catches. Sophie Reynolds and Kennedy Christianson were solid on the mound and at the plate.
