Public Hours at the June Rutledge Piedmont History Room

The Piedmont Historical Society maintains its collection of Piedmont memorabilia within the Piedmont Recreation Center at 358 Hillside Avenue in Piedmont. The June Rutledge Piedmont History Room is in the foyer and is open to the public on the second Wednesday and fourth Friday of the month from 2-4p.m. No appointments are necessary, and no fees are charged. So come and visit, browse and learn more about Piedmont's history. The Society would be happy to arrange special tours.

The collection includes Clan-O-Log yearbooks for every year back to 1921, many University of California Blue and Gold yearbooks, scrapbooks from school and civic organizations, photograph albums, the Don Church collection of historic Piedmont postcards, house inventories, historic dress and school uniforms and artifacts from Piedmont's past.

The History Room also conducts special classroom tours for Piedmont students. Please contact the Historical Society at tours@PiedmontHistoricalSociety.com to arrange a classroom tour.
